Dames & Dudes, September 13, 2023

64 players turned out to play on a perfect late summer day! Players enjoyed a light breakfast, putting and chipping contests before play. The game was a 2 net best ball of the foursome, shamble format. Lunch and prizes on the Vintage Room patio followed.

Casual Guest Day, May 31, 2023

51 RLG members and their guests played this fun event on the South Course. Chairs, Bev Hada, Reggie Campagna and Jayne Meyer, selected a putting game that didn't require any handicap, making it perfect to bring any guest. lunch was a preselected menu item in the Members Lounge. Lots of smiles and laughter! Thanks to all who sent a selfie and Joan Ricci who toured the course taking photos!

Opening Day, April 5, 2023

37 played and 8 came for lunch only! We lucked out on the weather with only a few random sprinkles. Welcome to our new members who joined in for golf and/or lunch: Lorri Thomasson (almost new),

Wine Tasting, November 2, 2022

Perks of being an RLG member! Katy from distributor, Southern Glazers, brought 8 wines to sample to help determine what wines we would like to see in the Member Lounge. Thank you to Mike Nelson for coming up with the plan and to Natalie for creating the charcuterie for us. It was an awesome experience with lots of laughter and some very nice wines!

Closing Day, Fall Finale, October 12, 2022

Chairs, Bev Hada, Joyce Libke and Jayne Meyer planned a great ending event for the RLG season. 37 originally signed up for dinner and 34 for golf, an excellent turnout. The game was a step aside scramble played for "bragging rights" on an 81 degree afternoon! Delicious appetizers and dinner awaited us after play and then our General Meeting with payouts and lots of laughs! Click on each photo for better viewing and captions!

Casual Guest Day, May 25, 2022!
Fun Day! Great weather, great game with good friends! A big thanks to Sharon Claboe and Joan Ricci who designed a perfect game. It was a game where score didn't matter and we only needed to keep track of "trouble" shots, (for only a $5 buy in). Being an individual game, it was very low pressure. Since the dining room was closed we met at nearby Champions after our round.
Thanks to all of you who texted photos to Linda!
The game was points for trouble shots, if your ball didn't make it out of the bunker on the first try, each subsequent hit was 2 points.
If you made par after a trouble shot, you could erase that point.

Opening Day! 4/6/2022

Fabulous Oening Day!! 33 came to play! So many smiles, so much laughter! No prizes, but two teams tied with 36. (I think)it was the teams of T-Kae Henningsen, Stella Yang, Joyce Libke, Sandra Park, Karen Bolin and Chianna Alexander, Lila Ashenbrenner, Kelly Klein, Sharon Claboe. Yummy lunch. A big thanks to Diane Boyte and Joyce Libke for their super job as chairs. And we couldn’t do it without Brad Myers!

Season Ender, Winter Warriors, 3/31/22

A huge thanks to Commissioner, Kelly Drake, who organized incredible fun competitions each week! The closer today was a true highlight....sorry, Janet, your "best game ever" might have to take back seat to this one.
The game was "Clue". Each hole had three clues: person, place and weapon. Each team had a sheet of all the options. If everyone group managed to one or two putt, you were allowed to open the small bag clipped on the flag and check off the three options they found on the sheet. If someone had a three putt, but another person 1 putted, you could still open the bag. But if there wasn't a one putt to balance the three putt, you didn't get to peek in the bag! By a process of elimination, you were supposed to be able to deduce the mystery.
In the end it was Lovely Linda, in the woods, with a tree branch!! We laughed so hard at the pics of people...check them out! And no one got a look in all the bags so we had to have a play off. The team of Chong, Sharon, Bev and the murderous Linda won by pulling letters out of a bag to spell golf first! No putting talent at all!!
